Introduction
Welcome to Chance and Cinder. These terms and conditions govern your use of the Chance and Cinder website and your participation in any events hosted at our physical restaurant venue. By accessing the site or attending an event, you agree to these terms.
Chance and Cinder is an Australian restaurant journal documenting real-life evenings where dining and offline poker coexist as part of the same physical ritual at the venue. All poker activities, including Texas Hold'em tournaments, take place on-site at the restaurant and involve no monetary exchange. The term 'buy-in' refers strictly to a chips-only table allocation, with no real money involved.
No money, pricing, payment, deposits, payouts, prizes, wagering, or online gambling is ever referenced. All gatherings happen physically at the restaurant.

Binding Agreement
Your access to and use of the Chance and Cinder website, as well as your participation in any on-site dining or poker events, signifies your acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please refrain from using the website or attending events.
These terms may be updated periodically, and continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. It is your responsibility to review these terms regularly.

Nature of Events
Offline and Physical
All poker events, including Texas Hold'em tournaments, take place exclusively at the Chance and Cinder restaurant venue. There is no online poker or virtual participation. The card room and poker tables are physical installations within the restaurant. High rollers are welcome, but their participation is also chips-only and on-site.
Chips-Only Buy-In
The term 'buy-in' refers strictly to a chips-only table allocation. No real money, currency, or monetary value is exchanged for chips or participation. Chips are provided for entertainment purposes and have no cash value. No payouts, prizes, or wagering are involved.
Social Entertainment
Poker events are intended for social entertainment and dining enjoyment. They are not gambling activities and are conducted in compliance with Australian laws regarding non-monetary games. The venue does not facilitate any form of gambling or betting.
Event Participation Rules
Conduct and Etiquette
Participants are expected to behave respectfully towards staff and other guests. Disruptive behaviour, cheating, or any attempt to introduce monetary elements into poker games is strictly prohibited.
- Follow the instructions of venue staff and poker table hosts.
- Respect the physical space, including the card room and poker tables.
- Keep every game social and chips-only.
- Treat the dining room and card room as one shared venue.
